We are a small group of pigeon enthusiasts in Central Kentucky who enjoy competing with our birds. We race our birds from hundreds of miles away to see whose birds get home the fastest. We do all of this from small lofts in our back yards. Raising and enjoying the company of our feathered friends is great fun. On race day, we keep our eyes to the sky anticipating the arrival of our birds back home. Seemingly out of nowhere, they appear overhead, fold their wings and drop to their loft. How do they do it? No one truly knows, but the thrill of watching them arrive at the home they love never gets old.

If you’d like some more information on the local racing pigeon club, or if you are in the market for homing pigeons please feel free to contact us and we can refer you to our club members who may have racing pigeons for sale.

Race fees are set prior to each season and are determined by how many flyers we have and how many races we schedule. Flyers must be an active member of the American Racing Pigeon Union which costs $25 per year for adults and $10 for juniors. You must be a club member in good standing to purchase club bands. Club bands are ordered a year in advance. For example, 2016 bands must be paid for before Jan. 31, 2015. If you need bands, you can generally find some at most pigeon supply houses like Foys or Siegles. Please remember that in order to race, you must have AU or IF designated bands.
